Terms of Use

By accessing or using FolioTL (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance & purpose

FolioTL is a non-commercial fan project that publishes fan translations of light novels. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the original authors, illustrators, or publishers. We encourage you to support the official releases whenever they are available. Copyright concerns are handled as described in our Disclaimer & Rights Policy.

2. Usage rules

To protect our team's labor and keep the site online, you agree not to:

• Reupload, copy, or redistribute our translations on other websites, apps, or platforms
• Monetize, sell, or commercialize any material from this site.

3. Mature content (18+)

Some novels contain themes intended for adults. To access them you must confirm that you are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your country). You are responsible for making sure that viewing this content is legal where you live. The Site is not intended for minors.

4. Intellectual property

The original works, characters, and illustrations belong to their respective authors, illustrators, and publishers. The translations are the work of fans and are published without claiming ownership of the underlying works. The Site's name, design, and code belong to FolioTL.

5. Donations

We accept voluntary donations through Ko-fi to help cover the costs of running the Site. Donations are optional, are non-refundable, and do not grant any ownership, license, or special access. Payments are handled entirely by Ko-fi and are subject to its own terms.

6. Content removal & third parties

We reserve the right to remove or modify any title at any time, especially when an official English release is announced or requested by rights holders. We also link to external sites (like Discord or Ko-fi) that operate independently under their own terms.

7. Limitations & contact

The site is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted uptime or error-free text. We may update these terms periodically. For questions or inquiries, contact us at contact@foliotl.com
